The Big Ten is a pretty good place to be for a college athletics program.
The CFP Playoff helped the Big Ten a lot monetarily.
The conference is not only home to college football’s defending national champion and college basketball’s runner-up, but also a ton of money.
As reported by the Lafayette Journal & Courier, Big Ten revenue shares increased nearly $5 million to $32 million per school for the 2014-15 year.
From the report:
The $32 million Purdue received from the Big Ten is about $5 million more compared to 2013-14.
