Kam Williams help lead the Buckeyes to win at the RAC and hand Rutgers its 27th straight loss in conference play.
In the early part of the game, it was clear Rutgers was getting manhandled in the paint and wasn't finishing on layups or three's. Ohio State started up 22-6 and were completely dominating. Rutgers then Increased the pressure and effort on defense, which unsurprisingly got them back into the game. Off their defense, they were able to up the tempo and capitalize on several missed shots from the Buckeyes by scoring in transition. Rutgers went on a 13-0 run to cut the Buckeye lead to 22-19 with 4:46 to play in the half, Corey Sanders put the exclamation point on the early comeback with this slam in transition.
