Brandon Wimbush is not going to Rutgers, or to any Power 5 conference program for that matter.
The former St. Peter's Prep star will leave Notre Dame and play his final college season as a graduate transfer at Central Florida, he announced Tuesday on social media.
Wimbush lost his job to Ian Book this past season, but the Teaneck native was still one of the top quarterback options available this offseason.
Wimbush has started 15 games in his career and while accuracy is a concern -- he only has a 50.5 career completion percentage -- he has shown an ability to deliver big throws and make things happen with his legs.
