Northwestern head coach Chris Collins had no interest in letting Rutgers hang around in the first half of today's game. He had his team play a 2-3 zone and press Rutgers after every made basket, which there were many, from the opening tip of this game. And it worked to perfection, leading to a 19-4 start just six plus minutes into the game. I am not sure what to call whatever Rutgers was playing when they didn't have the ball, but it certainly wasn't defense.
