Okoro only averaged two points in 7.3 minutes per game for the Scarlet Knights last season, and he leaves the program with career marks of 2.2 points in just over seven minutes per game on 39.3 percent shooting.
The 6-foot-5, 215 pound swingman from the Bronx made headlines when he transferred to Rutgers from Ohio State, citing two deaths in his family as the reasoning behind his decision and request for a hardship waiver that would let him play immediately instead of sit out a year.
