Rutgers heavyweight Razohnn Gross dropped a 5-2 decision to North Carolina's Cory Daniel in the final bout of Friday night's dual meet at the RAC. But by keeping the margin small, Gross was able to secure a 18-17 criteria triumph for the No. 17 Scarlet Knights over the No. 24 Tar Heels.
Rutgers won on total match points criteria, 70-64.
