New QB offeree Tyshun Sarratt says Rutgers is his top choice

Rutgers' search for its quarterback for 2018 continues as the staff recently offered Gaffney's (S.C.) Tyshun Sarratt, a 6-3, 175-pound dual-threat.

Rutgers instantly became a player in Sarratt's recruitment as the only other offer he holds is from Wofford.

"I feel comfortable about Rutgers, and as of right now, that's my top choice and I'm pretty sure it'll stay that way," Sarratt told NJ.com, Wednesday.

In 2016, Sarratt threw for 2,307 yards and rushed for 295 yards, combining for 22 touchdowns.

He received his offer Wednesday, following Rutgers coordinator Jerry Kill watching him throw in-person at his high school.
