Rutgers is one day from the 72-hour sprint it has been waiting for.
The 2018 NCAA Championships open Thursday in Cleveland, and the Scarlet Knights will have six wrestlers competing for a chance to finish among the top eight wrestlers in their respective weight classes and earn All-American status.
Rutgers has four seeded wrestlers - Nick Suriano at 125 pounds, John VanBrill at 157 pounds, Richie Lewis at 165 pounds and Nick Gravina at 184 pounds - and two unseeded wrestlers, Scott DelVecchio at 133 pounds and Eleazar DeLuca at 149 pounds.
