Nick Gravina believes he can cause some March madness.
"Honestly, I think I could win the whole tournament," the Rutgers 184-pounder said ahead of the NCAA Championships in Cleveland. "I've been competitive with everybody's that's ranked. Why not me? Going into the tournament you've got to have that mindset anyway, but I genuinely think that I can win the whole thing."
The Scarlet Knights will have six wrestlers competing at nationals, but Gravina, ranked 13th in the country by Intermat, may be the most intriguing one. The Northern Highlands High product is seeded 14th in his weight class, but only after getting an at-large bid into the tournament.
