John McNulty had good players during his first tour of duty at Rutgers. Mike Teel was one of them.
But McNulty did his part to allow them to excel as well, Teel said, which will help make him a "great fit" as he returns to his old job.
"He's going to do everything he can to put the players in the right position," Teel, the former Rutgers quarterback and current Don Bosco Prep head coach, said on Thursday after McNulty was hired for his second stint as Rutgers offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, according to sources.
