PISCATAWAY – A decade ago, Mike Teel took what he learned at Don Bosco High School and brought it to Rutgers football.
Now, he will be doing the exact opposite.
Teel confirmed Tuesday night that he is leaving his post as a Rutgers graduate assistant coach to become the offensive coordinator at Don Bosco.
“I just think the opportunity to go to Bosco is something that I couldn’t pass up for many reasons,” Teel told Gannett New Jersey. “The biggest thing is to have an opportunity to work with kids who really love football and to have influence over them the way some of my coaches early in my career had an influence over me.
