PISCATAWAY – Rutgers football recruiting may have turned a major corner in New Jersey.
Four-star recruit Micah Clark, a two-way star at St. John Vianney High School, announced his verbal commitment to Rutgers via social media on Tuesday afternoon. In doing so, Clark became the second major in-state recruit in the last few days to decide to stay home for college.
Clark actually will come to Rutgers as part of a package with his brother Jamaal Beaty, a three-star offensive line prospect. They committed simultaneously to first-year coach Chris Ash, who was flanked by offensive line coach A.
