After being honored as Rutgers University's recipient of the prestigious Big Ten Medal of Honor award earlier this month, Corey Crawford was asked if he could script a better ending to his roller-coaster, six-year career.
"Yeah,'' Rutgers' star long jumper said. "I could win an NCAA championship.''
That goal will have to wait another month. For now, one of Rutgers' most accomplished athletes in history will have to settle for his latest gold medal.
Crawford added to his list of impressive accolades this past weekend, winning at the Big Ten Track and Field Championships in Lincoln, Neb.
