Matee Ajavon played in four Sweet 16s, three Elite Elites, one Final Four, one national championship game and five wins against Connecticut while at Rutgers.

And still she always felt like there was more to do.

"When I went to Rutgers, I knew the tradition," Ajavon told NJ Advance Media. "I knew what I had to uphold once I was in those shoes. I knew I had to fill shoes of toughness, of the legend of Vivian Stringer. It was something that was personal for my group that was there. Coach Stringer challenged us to be great every day.
