Another Big Ten East program is under fire with its head coach's future suddenly tenuous.
An apparent "toxic coaching culture" is prevalent at Maryland under D.J. Durkin, according to an ESPN.com report published Friday night which cited several named and unnamed sources, including current players.
The report came hours after ESPN reported the late Jordan McNair, a Terrapins lineman who died in May after being hospitalized following a team workout, succumbed due to a heatstroke suffered during the workout, and days after Ohio State's Urban Meyer - one of Durkin's former bosses - was put on paid leave in the wake of the Zach Smith domestic violence scandal.
