Rutgers alum and New Jersey native Carli Lloyd netted the game-winning goal in the United States' 1-0 victory over China in the quarterfinals of the Women's World Cup on Friday.
In the 51st minute, Lloyd headed in a Julie Johnston cross for the game's only goal. Lloyd, who attended South Jersey's Delran High School, continues to be one of the World Cup's most outstanding players and now has two goals and two assists so far in the tournament.
