Coming off a solid performance at the NFL Scouting Combine, wide receiver Leonte Carroo headlines a group of 12 former Rutgers players to participate in the school's annual pro day next Wednesday morning.
NFL scouts, coaches and executives will arrive at Rutgers' practice bubble to evaluate the group of former Scarlet Knights in athletic tests and position drills. Pro day, which will be run by new strength and conditioning coach Kenny Parker, will be broadcast live on RVision beginning at 10 a.m. with host Bruce Beck and former Rutgers defensive end Jamaal Westerman.
Carroo and linebacker Steve Longa were the only Rutgers players among the 332 NFL hopefuls invited to the Combine in Indianapolis last week.
