Kyle Flood has officially lost it.
Standing in front of the media after his Rutgers Scarlet Knights blew a 21-point second quarter lead and losing to lowly Maryland in the season finale, Flood actually believed he would be the head coach for a long time at Rutgers.
“Nobody’s given me any indication that I wouldn’t be the football coach,” said Flood in his postgame press conference. “I get those questions and I think the shame of those types of questions is they lead other people to believe that there’s some question about it. To my knowledge, there’s no question about it.
