PISCATAWAY – Rutgers football coach Kyle Flood said Tuesday that he has completed his portion of the university investigation into his possibly impermissible contact with a faculty member.
“I have no reason to believe that I wouldn’t be the person leading the football team on Saturday,” Flood said, referring to the team’s season-opener. “My portion of the university process ended yesterday and now until there is a resolution I really need to be respectful of the process.”
Flood is under investigation for an email he allegedly sent inquiring about the status of cornerback Nadir Barnwell, who is in danger of being ruled academically ineligible.
