K.J. Gray is going to wear scarlet.
Gray, a three-star recruit out of St. Peter’s Prep, committed Tuesday night to Rutgers, according to multiple reports.
The No. 18-ranked New Jersey prospect by Rivals.com could play cornerback or wide receiver in college. The only higher ranked in-state recruit committed to Rutgers in the class of 2016 is No. 17 Solomon Manning, who already is enrolled after early graduation from Colonia.
