PISCATAWAY – At the start of last season, versatile Justin Goodwin was one of the most irreplaceable players on the Rutgers football team.
By the end, he was one of the most forgotten.
Goodwin practically vanished from the box score as he managed three total carries over the final three games of the season, but he has resurfaced during spring camp despite a crowded backfield where opportunities are hard to come by.
“He is putting a couple practices in a row that have been really good,” coach Kyle Flood said after Monday’s workout, “and he is a guy who looks like a different guy from the fall.
