Recently, Mississippi standout Julius Turner paid a visit to the banks of the Raritan for a visit in advance of National Signing Day. The defensive tackle was previously committed to play at Louisiana Tech, but he has opened up his recruitment in recent months. This week, Turner told StateOfRutgers.com that he enjoyed his time at RU and it is clear that the Scarlet Knights are a very real consideration for him.
"The official visit went well," Turner told StateOfRutgers.com. "I like the new coaching staff. I especially like Coach Ash. What he's doing for the program there is really good.
