Rutgers, apparently, is still looking to add depth to the secondary as the staff recently extended an offer to junior college defensive back Bryce Beekman, who will enroll at a four-year college in January.
A 6-2, 190-pounder out of Arizona Western (Yuma, Az.), Beekman says Rutgers is positioned well his services. Hence, there's a chance he could eventually become a Scarlet Knight.
"It's a blessing," said Beekman, who is being recruited by safeties coach Noah Joseph. "It feels like all my hard work is paying off. Being originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and having a Big 10 offer and having the opportunity to play my home state definitely is important to me.
