Rutgers has no offensive identity. No offense either, really.
But to achieve the latter, the Scarlet Knights need to establish the former. That will be offensive coordinator John McNulty's top objective over the final five games of this lost season.
"I've thought about that the past couple of weeks, because we've just been hodge-podging around a little bit, trying to fit to our personnel, try to use our best players the best we can and get something to happen. When you do that, sometimes you get a little too scheme-oriented," McNulty said on Monday.
