For the first time since 2011, Rutgers will be developing two true freshman scholarship quarterbacks at the same time.
In 2011, Rutgers signed Gary Nova -- who became the program's all-time leader in touchdown passes -- and Mike Bimonte -- who never took a snap as a quarterback but was a valued member of the program behind the scenes for four years.
Since then, Rutgers has signed Blake Rankin (2012), Chris Laviano (2013), Giovanni Rescigno (2014), Mike Dare (2015), Tylin Oden (2016) and Johnathan Lewis (2017) out of high school.
