PISCATAWAY -- For Jerry Kill, the goal in his first season as Rutgers' offensive coordinator is simple:
"I just have to do a good enough job so I'm not the (eighth) coordinator that goes,'' Kill quipped, referring to the fact that he's the eighth offensively play-caller at Rutgers in as many years.
"That's my whole goal. I want to be able to stay here longer than a year and not get fired.''
Sounds simple enough. Then again, the former Minnesota head coach inherits an offense that ranked last among major college football teams in total offense.
