Jason McCourty to Giants, Patriots makes most sense | 'The dream of playing' with brother Devin

Jason McCourty could see the writing on the wall.

But he has his own message: He can still play.

McCourty was released Thursday by the Browns, just one year after signing a two-year deal as a free agent. The Rutgers product spent the first eight years of his career with the Titans.

"This offseason is different because of how our season went last year," McCourty told NJ Advance Media at a fundraiser for the Tackle Sickle Cell campaign he started with his twin brother and fellow NFL star Devin. "Moving forward, you have no idea what to expect.
