NEW YORK -- He was a prodigy in youth football who became a five-star recruit at Paramus Catholic High School who became the Big Ten Defensive and Special Teams Player of the Year at Michigan.
In terms of football, Jabrill Peppers hasn't spent a lot of time as an underdog before Saturday night's Heisman Trophy ceremony at Marriott Marquis in Times Square.
But Peppers was listed as a 50-to-1 underdog to win the Heisman, behind Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson.
