McNulty has held several plum positions around the NFL for the past decade, serving as the wide receivers and quarterbacks coach in Arizona, the quarterbacks coach in Tampa and Tennessee and the tight ends coach for the Los Angeles Chargers.
But McNulty hasn’t been the coach in charge of calling the offensive plays since his last stint as Rutgers offensive coordinator in 2008, when the Scarlet Knights concluded an 8-5 campaign in the PapaJohns.com Bowl.
He will do just that Saturday, when the Scarlet Knights host Texas State for a noon showdown at HighPoint.
