PISCATAWAY — For the Rutgers football team, Wednesday marked the midway point of training camp. Or, as fifth-year senior right guard Chris Muller called it, the preseason "hump day.''
Even though the Scarlet Knights have completed 15 days of training camp, there is still another week and a half before they break camp and begin preparations for the Sept. 3 opener at Washington in earnest.
"Everybody goes through the dog days of camp,'' Rutgers coach Chris Ash said. "You're in the middle of camp, you're practicing, you have no idea what's going on in the outside world.
