Chris Ash's Rutgers team has lost three straight games by a combined score of 149-30, the latest ugly defeat a 42-13 home loss to Buffalo this past Saturday.
The Scarlet Knights have been torched for big play after big play on defense, had players and family members sound off on social media, and Ash himself even made references to the need for more mental toughness and commitment during his opening statement at Monday's press conference inside the Hale Center in Piscataway.
But when asked by NJ Advance Media if his team has given up on the coaching staff or quit in the wake of a disastrous 1-3 start, Ash was adamant it has not.
