Former Rutgers head coach and current Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano has been cited by Columbus Police with a misdemeanor offense for failure to obey a traffic control device, according to multiple reports.
The citation stems from a campus accident that occurred Thursday morning at an intersection when Schiano's vehicle hit a 26-year-old male bicyclist who was taken to the hospital in stable condition with a reported head injury, police said.
There has been no update on the victim's name or condition other than he is a student.
Schiano is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct.
