Four of Rutgers University's own have been selected to try out for the 2017 Women's National Lacrosse Team. Assistant coach Taryn VanThof, and three players Amanda Casten, Kristine Dunphey, and Paige Paratore were chose along with 100 other players throughout the country. The tryouts will take place form August 5-7 at the U.S. Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, MD.
There will be 36 players chosen to join the team in their training for the upcoming 2017 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Rathbones Women's World Cup taking place in Guildford, England in July 2017. Eventually there will be 18 players selected to represent the country.
