As one of a handful of ex-Rutgers football players who went undrafted and then earned invites to NFL mini camps last week, Janarion Grant had tough odds to make the Baltimore Ravens' roster.
The former Scarlet Knights standout wide receiver/return specialist defied the odds Monday, signing a contract with the Ravens following the team's mini-camp this past weekend.
We have waived LB Mason McKenrick (John Carroll) and FB Ricky Ortiz (Oregon State).
We have signed WR Janarion Grant (Rutgers) and DE Myles Humphrey (Shepherd).

After missing the final eight Rutgers games of the 2016 season with an ankle injury, Grant played in seven games last fall, hauling in 16 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown while ranking third on the team with 600 all-purpose yards.
