PISCATAWAY – Mohamed Sanu is holding a football camp but launching an initiative.

The former Rutgers football star now playing wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals is partnering with Embrace Kids Foundation of New Brunswick to form “Sanu’s Crew” to benefit underprivileged youth with serious health challenges.

Sanu’s Crew will offer mentoring, young adult transition support and scholarships to patients from the pediatric programs at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

“I’ve always had a passion for helping kids and through some hospital visits I saw the incredible work being done by Embrace Kids,” Sanu said in a press release.
