The Rutgers community was shocked earlier this month when freshman linebacker Jon Pollock announced he would be transferring from the program. Now, we finally have an answer as to where he will be playing this fall.
Pollock announced earlier today that he will be joining Youngstown State, where he will play under former Nebraska head coach and feline enthusiast Bo Pelini.
Pollock, who had been committed to the Scarlet Knights since October of 2014, was arguably the most enthusiastic commit of the 2016 class. He made his commitment very early in the process, and was always active on social media, recruiting other players to get on board at Rutgers.
