For the second consecutive game, the Rutgers Men’s Lacrosse team was able to overcome a slow start to beat St. John’s 12-8 on a rainy day on the banks.
St. Johns, perhaps channeling the the spirit of their men’s basketball team, raced out to a 3-1 lead, but then it was Casey Rose time. Rose had a first half hat-trick, and Kieran Mullins, Austin Dvitcos, and Owen Mead added their first goals of the season to give the Scarlet Knights a 6-4 lead at the half.
While the first half belonged to Rose, Jules Heningburg and Max Edelmann took over in the second half.
