It's been 2,443 days since Greg Schiano last coached a game for Rutgers, but the Ohio State defensive coordinator admits he still has feelings toward the program he turned into a perennial bowl champion.
"Is it sentimental? Sure it is,'' Schiano said earlier this week, as he prepared Ohio State for a clash with Rutgers on Saturday (3:30 p.m., BTN) in Columbus, Ohio.
"We built that (Rutgers) program.''
In December 2000, Schiano took over a Rutgers program that had compiled a 15-51 record over the previous seasons.
