PISCATAWAY — Prior to a team meeting Monday, Darius Hamilton said a group of Rutgers football players discussed the state of the presidential election.
"We talk about it all the time,'' the Scarlet Knights fifth-year senior defensive tackle said. "We actually just had a little go-at-it before film started. I'm definitely going to get out to vote.''
While Hamilton said he estimates that "a little more than half'' of the Rutgers team planned to vote Tuesday on Election Day, fellow captain Chris Muller echoed that percentage.
