Former Rutgers stars Devin and Jason McCourty are gearing up for their third annual casino night on Saturday to benefit their Tackle Sickle Cell campaign, which is a partnership between the twins and the New Brunswick-based Embrace Kids Foundation.
The McCourtys have previously held casino nights at restaurants in Jersey City and New Brunswick. But this year, they're returning to their roots with the fundraiser taking place in the recruiting pavilion at High Point Solutions Stadium.
"To be able to have it at Rutgers and do everything there, that's where we really started our giving-back mentality, whether it was hospital visits or the Special Olympics or all of those different things," said Devin McCourty, an All-Pro safety for the New England Patriots.
