Devin McCourty has played in four Super Bowls during his eight-year career with the New England Patriots. The former Rutgers football standout owns two NFL-championship rings, and has twice felt the bitter sting of losing the Super Bowl.
He knows there isn't an antidote to easing the pain in the wake of the Super Bowl.
"I probably won't (get over it) until I get back to playing,'' Devin McCourty said Tuesday, two days after he recorded seven tackles and two pass breakups in a 41-33 setback to the Philadelphia Eagles. "When I’m home, I’m home, spending time with my daughter and family so (the loss) doesn't drain me.
