Corey Sanders delivers spectacular performance, lifting Rutgers over Northwestern

The shot clock dwindled to its conclusion and Corey Sanders stopped for a pull-up jumper just in front of the 3-point line with 3:25 to play.

The shot rattled in, pulling Rutgers within one point of Northwestern and eliciting a wild reaction from Steve Pikiell. Like a cheerleader, the Rutgers coach jumped up and down while waving his arms in the air, imploring the 3,827 fans at the Rutgers Athletic Center to get loud.

They did, and Sanders then gave the crowd plenty more to cheer about down the stretch in a 67-58 overtime win over Northwestern.
