Rutgers senior Corey Crawford swept the Big Ten long jump titles this season, winning the outdoor competition yesterday. Crawford has missed most of the outdoor season due to injury, but finished in second place at the Penn Relays two weeks ago. He peaked at the right time, blowing away the rest of the field. The winning jump set a program record at 7.93m, the longest of Crawford's outdoor career. The jump was well ahead of second place finisher Zach Bazile of Ohio State, who leaped for 7.65m. Crawford won the Big Ten Indoor long jump title earlier this year.
