Rutgers' success on the recruiting trail continued on Thursday when Tottenville wide receiver Tim Barrow announced his commitment to the Scarlet Knights.
Barrow is the first out-of-state recruit to join Rutgers' 2017 recruiting class. Recruiting site Scout lists the 6-foot-1, 170-pounder as a three-star prospect, as well as the top 2017 wide receiver in the Empire State.
This has to be viewed as a big win for Chris Ash, as he's made his first 2017 splash outside of New Jersey in the form of a promising young playmaker.
Barrow becomes the ninth commit of the recruiting class, which had grown exponentially in recent weeks.
