Off to a 2-0 record for only the second time in seven seasons, the Rutgers men's basketball team is seeking its first 3-0 start since the 2008-09 campaign.
The Scarlet Knights travel to Chicago for their first road contest of the Steve Pikiell era Thursday night, facing DePaul in the annual Gavitt Tip-Off Games.
For Pikiell, a win over DePaul would make him the first Rutgers head coach to begin his tenure unblemished after three games since Donald S. White in 1945-46.
"They're very athletic, attack the rim,'' Pikiell said, speaking to reporters on Monday, via ScarletReport.
