Izaia Bullock's arrest has not only rocked the Rutgers football program, but it has shocked those who knew him before he became a Scarlet Knight.
The now-former walk-on linebacker has been charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and two counts of first-degree conspiracy to commit murder on Tuesday. His intended victims have not been named by the Middlesex County Prosecutor, but five individuals with knowledge of the situation told NJ Advance Media that Bullock made threatening comments about an ex-girlfriend's family following a difficult breakup.
Bullock later admitted his plan during an interview with police, according to a criminal complaint, and investigators found crushed-up Tylenol pills, gloves and a mask after searching his car.
