Rutgers senior Chris Gotterup finished tied for 20th place out of 75 golfers at this week’s 2021 NCAA Kingston Springs East Regional on Wednesday at the Golf Club of Tennessee. Gotterup was the first Scarlet Knight to compete at an NCAA Regional in 16 years.
After a three-under-par 68 on Monday that was the third lowest single round score at the event, Gotterup struggled on Tuesday finishing with a three-over-par 74. However, he bounced back on Wednesday, playing an even par 71 to finish at even par through the three round NCAA Regional. His final score was 213 (68-74-71), tying for 20th place in what was a solid showing on the national stage.
