After starting quarterback Artur Sitkowski was sacked at the end of the first half in the 49 point loss to Ohio State on Saturday, the entire Rutgers fan base held their breath over the weekend in regard to the true freshman’s health status going forward. At Monday’s press conference, head coach Chris Ash gave fans a reason to breath a sigh of relief, as it appears a potential disaster has been averted.
Ash says there are no major injuries. Art Sitkowski is day-to-day. My understanding is MRI showed no structural damage. #Rutgers
