Chicago Bears hire ex-Rutgers offensive coordinator Ben McDaniels, per report

Another former Rutgers assistant has found a new job. Ben McDaniels, who was an assistant on Kyle Flood's staff for the past two seasons at Rutgers, has been hired as an offensive assistant by the Chicago Bears, according to an SI.com report.

McDaniels, 35, was Rutgers' offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for the 2015 season. The Scarlet Knights ranked 78th nationally in scoring offense while posting a 4-8 record last season. McDaniels served as Rutgers' wide receivers coach during the 2014 season.
