NEW BRUNSWICK – To get an idea of how soon Rutgers basketball’s new practice facility will get built, walk into the old one sometime this summer.
It’s steaming inside the RAC.
More than a year ago, the university approved the long-overdue installation of air conditioning at the RAC. It still hasn’t happened, and the heat remains a major hindrance for Eddie Jordan’s summer camps and recruiting visits. Folks around the program are hopeful the work will begin this fall.
This is important, because it illustrates the snails’ pace at which change occurs at Rutgers.
